Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point person in primarily insurance losses.
  • Contact the customer to schedule an initial appointment and inspection within 2 hours if an emergency or 24 hours for non-emergencies.  Some carrier program dictate on site windows.
  • Prepare scope of work thru Sketch and communicate with customers.
  • Secure work authorizations and contracts
  • Coordinate, supervise, document, and assist in the production of Emergency Water Extraction and Drying Services and Emergency Fire/Smoke Services.
  • Record and report loss documentation (ie contracts, psychometric readings, moisture mapping) to customer, adjuster, and national programs on losses.
  • Create estimate in Xactimate / Symbility and submit to adjuster/customer.  Time may be subject to a carrier Program Requirements.
  • Negotiate with adjuster/customers on the scope of work.
  • Consistently deliver Exceptional Customer Service to all external and internal customers.
  • Build & maintain a professional relationship with customers, adjusters, carriers, and 3rd parties.
  • Train & supervise technicians.
  • Be on-call in a rotation on a monthly basis.
  • Perform employee performance reviews.
  • Follow, encourage and enforce safety practices and guidelines including proper use of PPE when required.

Education Requirements

Associates Degree or 3 Years Equivalent Experience

Physical Demands

Lift (occasionally) 5-40 lbs. May involve significant stand/walk/push/pull Occasional climbing (ladders, etc.), balancing, crouching, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling. Ability to work in confined spaces. Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat. Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent at times.

Licenses & Certifications

  • IICRC Water, Fire & Smoke
  • Valid Driver’s license.  Checked quarterly.

Work Requirements

  • 7:30 am – 4:00 pm on the job and/or available by phone
  • The employee is expected to work weekends when a necessary/job demands it.
  • The employee is expected to be on-call (at least by phone) upon the needs of the team
  • Knowledge of construction.
  • Organizational & multi-tasking skills.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Computer literate.
  • Review jobs on a weekly basis with the Project Manager.
  • Complete projects with a targeted budget and days in production.
  • Maintain positive reviews from customer service scores.
  • Provide the customer with a job schedule unless the project is produced in less than 2 weeks.

  • Health/Dental Package: Open Enrollment in November/December (each year you will be enrolled with no changes)
